Problem: In today’s world, the Church is often unknown, misunderstood, or dismissed as irrelevant — even by many who claim to follow Christ.
Solution: Uncover where the Church came from, what it stands for, and why it is not only relevant today, but essential for anyone who truly seeks to follow Jesus.
There are almost 50,000 Christian denominations today. All claim to represent the Church Jesus founded in Matthew 16:18 — except for those that claim no such Church exists at all, insisting that “all you need is a personal relationship with Jesus.”
So which is it?
- Is the Church central to salvation, or optional?
- Where are its boundaries?
- Who decides what’s inside — and outside — the Church?
- And what did the Apostles, the men who knew Jesus face-to-face, actually teach about it?
These questions — and many others — are ones I have wrestled with myself. My prayer is that through this community, your own journey toward the Truth, who is God, may be made easier and richer.
