Training.
Today, we begin the discussion on what comes out from within your Body, and this is best realized through Training. We do not prescribe to one specific style of Training, because as a great Mentor of mine once said: "Strength is Never a Weakness, and Weakness is Never a Strength..." We do, however believe everyone needs some form of training protocol, for the simple fact of Newtonian Physics. If you choose Action, it will be easier to remain in Action. If you choose Rest, it will be easier to remain stagnant, and not so slowly begin to decay... Here are some simple styles to start with: - Walking - Stretching - Hypertrophy - Strength - MetCon Try one for a week, see if you enjoy it. Try two in one day, maybe it drives you forward. We established yesterday, what goes into your Body in the form of Nutrition directly influences what comes out of your body. Do you have days where you feel run down? You tell yourself you're tired? You start spinning the web of that destructive story? We don't often think about it, but much of this feeling can be driven by your Nutrition. The artificial world we live in today (particularly for us Americans) has become increasingly artificial. - Preservatives - Sweeteners - Dyes - Stabilizers While these may add to the taste profile or shelf life of a product, they certainly do not build Wellness within us. What you put in your body dictates what we may pull forth from it. This is true of all Domains of Performance, but it is abundantly true of the Physical Domain of Performance. And it all starts with Nutrition; how we Fuel our Pursuit. This can evolve to become the most nuanced facets of this Domain, but at a high level, it is really quite simple: Eat Real Food. If you want to build a more intentional Focus to your Nutrition, start by eating food that was grown in the ground, or harvested from an animal.
