Journal Entry and Personal Testimony - A fitting ending

Hello everyone!

I just finished writing something in my journal that I would really love to share with you all

The Lord has brought me through a lot, and this last page in my journal was like the perfect ending to it all

Journal Entry -

Psalm 60:1

"O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again"

When I sinned against You Lord, I cast myself off because I walked away from You. I was scattered and lost because with You Lord I am secure and found; and Lord, I wasnt with You

Again, I am sorry Lord

You were displeased

Thank You Lord for Your forgiveness, love, and mercy

Thank You Lord for welcoming me back inot Your light, turning me around

Thank You Lord for bringing, welcoming, and turning me to Your light

I am the dark

Thank You Lord I can live in Your light

Thank You Lord that You are not asking me to be the light, but just to be with You; the light

Thank You Lord that Your light shines in my darkness

When I visualize it I see a dark figure facing the light

The light shines on the dark figure, shouwing them the truth of who they really are

Lord, You are the light

I am the dark figure

Your light shines all through me, that I may see the truth of the inner parts, as well as gain wisdom from You on the hidden parts

Thank You Lord

It is because of You I get to see who I reall am; the truth of who You have made me to be

Thank You Lord

Thank You Lord for Your light, and Your love

Thank You Lord for a fitting end to this journal

Thank You Lord for bringing me out of my darkness and into Your light

Thank You Lord for bringing me out of my old and into Your new

And thank You Lord for bringing me out of my evening, into Your new morning

Thank You Lord!

"Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert"

Thank You Lord!

When I first saw this journal, it resonated with me because of its emblem represents "evening and morning"

And thats exactly what the Lord did

He turned my evening into morning
