The Hidden Revenue Sitting Inside Your Business Right Now
Most funnels don't fail because of the page alone.
They fail because the follow-up stops too soon.
That has probably been one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned over the last couple of months since going through Russell Brunson’s AI Secrets & the Funnel Builder Certification program I am in.
When I was first introduced to funnels 6 years ago, I spent the first couple years believing that money will come because I built the funnel.
Build the funnel.
Run traffic.
Generate leads.
Make sales.
NOT!
I’m realizing something important:
A lead is not dicardable just because they did not buy today.
Over the last 90 days alone, I’ve probably generated 500–600 leads… and honestly, I was not following up with them the way I should have been.
Most got the first email sequence for the initial opt-in …Then nothing.
No more follow up past that.
Meanwhile those people came into MY world for a reason.
They wanted help.
They raised their hand.
And I was dropping the ball by not continuing the conversation.
The crazy part?
When I finally decided that I was going to focus on following up with my contacts more consistently.
I sent a simple email asking
“Are you still looking to grow your business?” or
“what can I do to help you….?
Surprisingly, people started replying.
Old leads reactivated.
Conversations restarted.
Opportunities showed back up.
Sales started happening from a list that I was ignoring past the first emails.
I also noticed something else…
I’ve had discovery calls where I overdelivered, mapped out the vision, showed the strategy, and the person wouldn't move.
Then months later…
they come right back to me asking for help.
Why?
Because they could not unsee the vision that I showed them the first time we spoke.
The vision that there was a path that can tkse to get what they want.
They can't unsee that there IS a path to success!
They may have needed more time.
More trust.
More clarity.
More follow-up.
That lesson changed how I look at leads forever.
Now I’m realizing AI is not just helping us build prettier pages faster…
AI is helping us become BETTER at follow-up.
Helping segment lists.
Helping personalize emails.
Helping organize leads.
Helping create smarter systems.
Helping us stay consistent.
And consistency changes everything.
Here are 3 things I’m personally focusing on right now:
1️⃣ Talking to my list more consistently
Not just broadcasting… actually asking questions and learning what people need help with.
2️⃣ Checking my leads daily
I’m building the habit of opening ClickFunnels every day and asking:
“How many leads came in yesterday?”
Because every lead is a real person, not just a number.
3️⃣ Following up longer than I used to
Some people buy immediately.
Others need weeks or months before they are ready.
That does not make them a bad lead.
It just means the relationship is still being built or it isn't the right time.
One thing has become very clear to me:
The money is not just in the list.
The money is in the follow-up.
