And the day hasn’t even begun
Try something different tomorrow morning.
Before you reach for your phone…

Look at your palms
Just observe them for a few seconds
Then gently rub your hands together
Listen to the sound it makes
Feel the warmth building
Take a slow, deep breath
Everything is happening here... NOW!
Then place your warm hands over your eyes…
and slowly over your face
Feel the warmth
Gently massage your face
Stay with the sensation
This is something I grew up with.
A simple, traditional practice.
I didn’t realise then… how powerful it is.
Because in those few moments…
the mind stops rushing ahead.
And you arrive.
Before the day begins.
No new routine.
Just a different way to begin it.
Presence is built in small moments.
