I have not got the first idea who that saying can be attributed to. It doesn't really matter. It's the message that counts.A variation of that message is, ALL COMES TO THOSE THAT WAIT. Personally I think it is unadulterated bullshit of the highest tree hugging quality. In the real world I have found to my detriment that the people that ascribe to that bullshit have a hidden agenda running in the background along the lines of... IF I WAIT LONG ENOUGH SOME DUMB FUCK WILL DO IT FOR ME. To those people I would introduce them to the concept of GOYFA. A very little known and ancient concept first discovered by the Myans I believe. Apparently it took years to translate into a universal form that people could understand. It translates to... GET OFF YOUR FUCKING ARSE and do it yourself. How many TV's/laptops/computers/mobile phones have you set up because people led you to believe they were helpless? How many times have you been on the phone to insurance companies/utility providers/car dealerships/ insert company of your choice because apparently ' you do it better'? Sound familiar? I can absolutely guarantee these people are not helpless or dumb. They are master manipulators, and very well skilled in the art. I am just going to assume you can tell the difference between GENUINE need and manipulation. Maybe it's time you introduced a few people to the GOYFA concept and make the Myans proud.
