Why people keep getting stuck after the setup
At first, everything feels exciting.
You create your account.Fix your bio. Build your setup.Write your “Start Here” post.
And for a moment, it feels like you’re finally building something real.
But then a weird phase starts.
You post. You try Notes. Spend hours writing.Maybe you even stay consistent for weeks…
…and almost nothing happens.
That’s usually the moment where people start doubting themselves.
They think:“Maybe my niche is bad.”“Maybe my content sucks.”“Maybe Substack is just luck.”
But honestly?
Most creators are not failing because they’re lazy. They’re failing because nobody taught them how growth actually works on Substack.
Nobody explains that growth mostly comes from:
  • visibility
  • relationships
  • positioning
  • conversations
  • systems that save you from wasting months guessing
So people stay stuck posting into the void, hoping Notes magically change everything.
I know because I went through that exact phase too.
And that’s also why the Substack Accelerator exists: to help creators go from “I have a setup” to “I actually know how to grow.”
But before that, make sure you truly finished Module 1 and 2 first. A weak foundation makes growth 10x harder.
One action for today 👇
Go into your niche.
Find ONE viral Note with a lot of comments.
Then spend 15–20 minutes replying to people and starting real conversations.
Just becoming visible and building connections naturally.
That’s where a lot more growth starts than people realize.
Want to know more of the full system to save 10x more time. Go check the Substack Accelerator page in the Classroom.
