Well, here we are, the last day of Neurodiversity Celebration Week, 2026. I hereby declare it Fidget Friday! I've spent this week neck-deep in laptop meltdown and tech trouble, feeling mightily frustrated and pretty rigid in my abilities to pivot, shift, let it go... I suppose the fact that I /do/ is proof that I'm not as bad at it as it feels, but it feels like I suck at it, you know? And so, I take some deep breaths and pet the kittens, walk and nap, try and try again, give up and return. Greatful for my self-care go-tos, my local compooper repair shop, and mindfulness practice to get me back on track again and again. In the midst of it all, I managed to record a new Neurodivergent Narrative with our first cis male guest, Matt. I hope you'll check it out. And, for those of you who missed the live event the other day, I recorded a NEW video about the resources I shared in that presentation. What's you're favorite fidget? I usually have my homemade wrist rest in hand when I'm in Zoom meetings. It's a soft cotton square that flax seeds and lavendar buds in it, so it feels nice in the hand and emits a little scent when I toss it around. I'll show ya when I see ya. Happy Neurodiversity Celebration Week, friends! I'm glad you're you and I'm glad you're here. ❤️
