Remember sometimes who sees your post is more important than the amount of people who see it.
I had two posts that were absolute duds this week when it came to engagement, but one actually got me a job lead and the other was liked by a high-profile individual.
The job lead was my analysis on how to properly prompt AI, and it got 2 likes on Facebook. I kept it up and didn’t delete it, and the next day I got a text from a local college saying they need someone like me. I’m not looking for that particular job right now, but it’s always nice to know.
The 2nd was a workflow I built with Claude that was so bad on engagement I actually deleted it (I usually never recommend deleting posts). My first like on the post was by the director of machine learning engineering for Shopify.
Just some things to keep in mind if you are feeling down about engagement (:
There are definitely times for growth engagement and times for conversions.
I'll create an entire classroom on content buckets this month.
