THURSDAY
WHAT ELSE COULD BE TRUE? When you've decided what something means, ask: What else could be true? “They haven't replied because they're annoyed.” What else could be true? They're busy. They're driving. They forgot. They're having a rubbish day. You don't need to pick a nicer story. The point is recognising that your first story isn't automatically the truth. Try it today.

Wednesday
A reminder I need myself sometimes: Not knowing isn't the same as something being wrong. We hate gaps. So our brains fill them. No reply → something's wrong. Someone seems quiet → I've done something. Plans aren't confirmed → they're going to fall apart. Sometimes the truth is simply: I don't know yet. And that's allowed.

TUESDAY
Before next week starts, ask yourself: What am I already worrying about that hasn't actually happened yet? A meeting? A conversation? Money? Work? Something at home? Notice it. You don't have to convince yourself everything will be fine. Just recognise: I'm predicting right now. Sometimes that alone takes some of the power out of it.

SUNDAY
Weekend thought… You don't have to respond to everything immediately. A message. A comment. A change of plan. Something somebody says that annoys you. Sometimes the most useful thing you can do is give yourself a moment before deciding what it means or what you're going to do about it. Pause first. Respond second. Has a pause ever completely changed how you handled something?

SATURDAY
One question today: What did your mind make harder this week than it actually needed to be? No judgement. Mine does it too 😂 The point isn't to never overthink, worry or assume again. It's simply getting better at noticing when we're doing it. What did you notice this week?
