I consider teachers to be in the same league as highly skilled athletes: their performance on the field or in every race is monitored, judged and compared to other competitors.
Yet we expect teachers to 'win' with our children in autonomous and often lonely environments. Without a ‘coach’ to support or guide them.
Good teachers are highly empathetic leaders, but many feel lost and rejected by the system, feeling that that same sense of empathy is so often used against them.
What teachers desperately need is a group who will not only help them reach their full potential, but also remind them along the way that they are human too.
My mission is to build a secure and trusted online community with teachers for teachers. Genuine professionals who will listen, support and champion each other. Are you prepared to get on board?
