Saturday Morning Live - January 10, 2026
Grand Rising Collective. I hope you were able to join me live this morning. I’m not sure if it recorded. Here is the recap. Please work thru Lesson 1 and 2. Take your time and allow the lesson to permeate your mind and heart.
  1. Get outside and walk for stress relief
  2. Affirmation for the week “ I can feel an anxious and still be safe”
  3. Remember our deep breathing exercise: inhale for four hold it for two seconds then exhale for 4 to 6 seconds. See how your body responds to this.
  4. Anxiety is a threat detection system. It can be adaptive or male adaptive.
  5. Adaptive is a coping strategy that helps you work towards a solution. It has a set timeframe
  6. Maladaptive coping will cause further stress and possible depression. You may find yourself ruminating over the potential threat.
  7. Anxiety is something you predict or assume. It has not occurred yet.
  8. Fear is helpful in that it alerts you to potential dangers in your environment. It has an ending it does not linger.
  9. Ask yourself what did anxiety protect me from today?
  10. Ask yourself what did that anxiety cost me? Sleep, peace, time, relationships?
  11. If you are in constant fight- flight, your body is trying to adapt, but will eventually burn out
See you next Saturday at 8 AM. I will make sure I click the correct button so the video saves.
