Several weeks ago a "sermon" came to me as I was thinking about what I would stand up and say if I were to open up a "church for the divine feminine". I recorded myself speaking it, and today I have turned it into a post here to share with my beautiful sisters- with only Love in my heart. ❤️🌹🦄🌈🙏
Thank you, Mother Goddess, for birthing us.
Thank you, Father God, for being the life force energy which makes the birthing process begin.
Both are necessary. One without the other, life on Earth is not possible.
Thank you, the Oneness, the All.
Birthing is all around us. Life is birthing. Mother Gaia is birthing. And every day, we birth too: ideas, businesses, dreams, situations, people.
Without the spark, the life force energy that wakes the seed, nothing begins. But the spark alone is not enough. Without the space to experience it grow, without surrender, and without the trust that what we need is forming... then we miss it all. It is all right there and it might as well not be, because we don't have eyes to see.
Look at how Mother Gaia holds that space openly.
She is endlessly resourceful, turning the used into the new, drawing on every ounce of love and attention we have ever given her.
For thousands of years we have looked away, and still she has done her best with what she has.
Now she has built enough momentum for what we are calling the divine feminine awakening. She has been tenderly nurturing this massive birthing, trusting for us the trust we didn't know how to give ourselves.
She is patient. She is loving. And she is calling us to rise with her, with Mother Goddess, with Asherah, whose name was nearly lost to history.
She calls us through the moon, through her phases and her ebbs and flows, to guide us back to a conscious awareness of birthing. Birthing is not only in a woman's womb. It is in everything we do.
When we feel into that energy, we meet our soul.
Our soul is always speaking to us, gently. Those of us with wombs may feel intuition more readily, because we live so close to the physical birthing process.
But every human being has it.
So many of us ask, "What is my purpose? Why am I here? Am I living my dreams?" Of course we don't know. We feel the spark, but we haven't learned to experience the space where it grows.
That is what we are waking up to, and Gaia and the Goddess are joining forces, water and earth, to wake us to this experience. This presence. This way of being with.
So talk to your water. Bless it before you drink it. Thank it for its clarity, its coherence, its flow.
Feel the earth beneath your feet. Touch a tree as you pass and say hello.
They are calling all of us, not just women. Every human being carries both divine feminine and divine masculine energy, and uniting them within ourselves is the healing we need.
The harmony and balance of the Oneness.
It is a path only we can walk for ourselves, and each of us weaves it from our own threads, our own stories and beliefs, whatever makes sense for our own unique life.
Whether consciously or unconsciously is our choice. Our work.
In the beginning, night was divided from day, light from dark, sea from land.
To have a physical reality, we need polarity.
We could never know light without knowing dark. If we are here to experience ourselves, and we ourselves are light, then this is the process.
We can choose to believe that, and all it gives us is grace, trust, and access to more of the love that we are.
That is all.
And isn't that everything? Costing us nothing?
No one else even needs to know.
We get stuck when we stick to and spin in duality, sorting good from bad, trapped in our stories and easily distracted.
Rising above it is simply the choice to stop being distracted.
There is no doctrine here.
No dogma, no mythology we must conform to.
Only connecting to what we decide inside. Seeing that there is a life force that sparks the seed, and that birthing is in everything we do, consciously or unconsciously.
When we choose to see that and own that, we begin to write our own stories. We see the the miracles, the beauty in everything. We don't have to forsake anything. We simply get to see it with new eyes.
I love you.
