The 5-Minute Self-Nurture Pause
Step 1: Grounding (1 minute)
  • Sit comfortably. Feet on the floor. Back straight.
  • Close your eyes and take three slow, deep breaths.
  • Imagine roots extending from your feet into the earth, anchoring you.
Step 2: Heart Connection (1 minute)
  • Place one hand over your heart.
  • Whisper or think: “I am worthy of love, care, and kindness — from myself.”
  • Feel the warmth under your hand, like your heart is giving itself a hug.
Step 3: Gentle Reflection (1–2 minutes)
  • Think of one thing you did today that honored you or made you feel proud.
  • Smile, breathe, and let yourself acknowledge your effort without judgment.
Step 4: Nourishing Intention (1 minute)
  • Whisper or think: “I choose to nurture myself today. I honor my feelings, my needs, and my energy.”
  • Visualize a soft glow surrounding you — protective, comforting, and warm.
Optional:
  • Place a sticky note somewhere visible: “I am enough. I nurture me.”
  • Each time you see it, take a slow breath and reconnect to that feeling.
