Routines can be difficult to maintain during the summer because of holidays, travel and changing schedules. So how do you stay consistent with your language learning during this period? Do you schedule learning times for each week? Do you book a lesson with a teacher regularly? Do you set reminders to study? What is your trick?

Do you find movies easy to understand (without subtitles)? I've been learning English for almost 4 years, and I still find movies way harder to understand than series, podcasts, YouTube videos... Maybe it's because I enjoy action movies, with a lot of noise in the background. What do you think?

Hi, I'm Vera, a Business English teacher. I'm Hungarian but I also speak and teach English, and I'm actively learning Italian. Actually, I'd like to take the C1 level Italian exam this year. (Wish me luck!) I also learnt Dutch in the past but only reached A2 level. I'm also interested in learning Chinese but I realised that I don't have time both for Italian and Chinese, so I will restart Mandarin in the future. I'm happy I found this group since I spend a lot of time on Skool (I also have my community here). Ciao, sono Vera, un insegnante di Business English. Mi interessa imparare anche la cinese ma é chiaro che non ho abbastanza tempo per entrambe l'italiano e cinese, e per questo motivo ricominceró la mandarino nel futuro.
