🎹 Our first Keys Lab is officially here! We ran into some technical difficulties with tonight’s live setup, but I wasn’t going to let that stop me from delivering the lesson I promised. In this first Keys Lab, we’re breaking down chord progressions and looking at how understanding the relationshipbetween chords can help you move beyond simply memorizing random shapes. We’ll explore: How chord progressions work Why thinking in numbers changes the game How the same progression moves between keys How inversions, rhythm and musical choices can bring a simple progression to life Your practice challenge: Take one simple four-chord progression this week and experiment with it. Try different inversions, move it to another key, change the rhythm, or add one musical embellishment. Then come back and tell me what you discovered—or post a clip of yourself working through it.
