Episode 13: Your home should support your life, not just look pretty.
In this week’s episode of The Sacred Designer Podcast, Alyssa talks with Kristy of Crew Collective Design about design that goes deeper than finishes.
They talk about how your homework as a whole system.
Not just one room. Not just one color. Not just one pretty choice.
But the full feeling of the home.
A well-designed home should support:
✨ your daily routines
✨ your energy
✨ your stress level
✨ your storage needs
✨ your future plans
✨ the way you move through the space
One of the biggest lessons from this episode is this:
Design choices should not be made in isolation.
A cabinet, floor, tile, or paint color may look beautiful on its own.
But if it does not work with the rest of your home, it can create more stress later.
This is why planning matters so much.
Before you remodel, slow down. Look at the whole home.
Think about how each choice supports your life now and in the future.
