New Facebook Group
Hello, I have a new announcement to make. I have created a new Facebook group. It is called The Journal Jam Club: Daily Reflection and Journal Prompts The purpose of this Facebook groups is to offer daily journal prompts and reflections. I am doing this anyway on my general feed, and copying the post to my P Lynne Designs LLC page, and I thought, I am creating an e-book, why not cancel the e-book, and place the prompts in the group. I can have challenges there as well as in this community. There will be more stuff coming the next weeks and months, but what do you think? How do you see this group growing? I hope that some members would like to try out the group and some members from the Facebook group will try out this community. It is a win-win for everyone. So, here is the link to the group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1982238895691658 I hope you will come along for the ride. See you on the other side,

Focus for February
My focus for this month is this thing called trying to get away in June. I am trying to go on a cruise, but for some reason the money is not coming together. I know, things can change in a heartbeat, and I am grateful that I can have a chance to get away. My focus in the journaling line is being grateful. For some reason, I push having a grateful journal, but I do not have one for 2026, and I went without having one for a whole month. So my question to you is, “do you have a grateful journal?“ Start with a small entry such as what am I grateful for? I really want to see where this is going. I am shifting the atmosphere to include that as well as as a love chapter. This is why I created a grateful and love journal. I am so grateful of the many gifts that I have been given when it comes to writing and graphic design. I have often heard someone say, “you design in Canva, how hard is that?” Learning how to use Canva in your work is a game changer, and I want to teach you how to do basic covers. I will save that for another time once this group gets started. So friends, that is what February is all about, being grateful and love. See if you can start journaling on that for the month. In the meantime, if you have any questions, let me know.

Why Journaling helps
I am on this quest. I am determined to show you how journaling works for a person’s mindset, and you don’t have share your entries to anyone but yourself, but I want to give you an example on how sharing can be therapeutic. Right now, I am listening to Nia Sioux’s book, Bottom of the Pyramid, and you want to talk about some stuff. Now, everyone has their opinion about Abby Lee Miller. Mine is not favorable at all. As a student of dance, none of my teachers has ever made me feel like I was less than more than Abby Lee has tried to make Nia feel. To me, this book is like Nia’s Journal, as she is letting you know her side of what really happened on Dance Moms, and how she managed to move past it. I am not saying to turn your journal into a New York best selling book, but write your truth, even if it helps your healing. If need be, hire someone who can get you past the hurt you feel, and help you move past that hurt. We all need to heal no matter what that hurt is. Writing is just one way of doing so, without harming yourself. If you do not Journal, why not give it a try?
