I’d like to take a moment to recognize someone special. Please join me in welcoming Lori Barnes to the Village Commons. Lori serves as Sponsorship Director for The Furbaby Fund™, a community-centered initiative focused on storytelling, emotional wellness, companion animal support, and meaningful community connection. What immediately stood out to me about Lori is her heart for service and her commitment to creating spaces where compassion, connection, and community can thrive. Through projects like STORMII’S TALL TAILS™, she is helping create opportunities for families, children, caregivers, seniors, and animal lovers to connect through stories that inspire comfort, joy, and belonging. As our very first member to officially join the Village Commons, Lori will always hold a special place in the history of this community. Building any new ecosystem starts with people who are willing to show up before the crowd arrives. People who believe in possibility before there is proof. We’re honored to welcome Chaplain Dr. @Linda Day to our Skool community and as an integral voice in Abase & Abound™️: Faith + Finances. Dr. Day is a veteran, Christian prison chaplain, international missionary, minister, and three-time author. Her work has taken her into prisons, churches, and communities where she has consistently walked alongside women in seasons of healing, rebuilding, and restoration. She is the author of Still Becoming: 66 Devotionals for Faith, Strength, and Purpose After 70, a devotional centered on faith, resilience, and purpose in every season of life.
