I been looking for a few months but I wanted something where I could still be as present as possible for my kids who have a lot of extracurriculars and things going on. Amier said - get clear about what you want.

I kept feeling foolish for putting my available hours on applications thinking no one is going to hire me with this kind of availability, but I was stubborn about it. I wouldn’t settle on the hours. I knew I didn’t want a job that interfered with my most important job of being “that mom”. I’ve been a stay at home mom for 14 years but divorce has thrown me into a new reality.

Well, I just landed a job at my kids school. I’ll be on their exact schedule, already be there for gheir sports games and orchestra concerts, and I get the same holidays off. We will leave the house together in the morning and leave the school together in the evening. Praise God. 🙏🏽

Also, today a new friend of mine sent me $150 to cover my kids instrument fee that my card has been declining for. The shift is real. It’s happening. I pray for this whole community every day. Please continue to pray for me too. Thank yall. 💗
