Opening Agreements
I'd like to offer these agreements as a starting point...
This is a brave space.
  • No one is here to perform.
  • No one is here to pretend they have it all figured out.
  • We're all here because we're tired of doing this alone.
What's shared in this space stays in this space.
  • Confidentiality is non-negotiable. Let’s speak the lessons yet not the details. 
  • Let’s be respectful and kind. It takes vulnerability to show up authentically and wholeheartedly so let’s co-create a brave space. 
You don't have to show up perfectly.
  • Camera off because you don't have capacity? Cool.
  • Kids interrupting in the background? We've all been there.
  • Need to just listen and not talk? That's so relatable.
You're not performing… you're being human.
  • There's no "right way" to do this.
  • You show up however you can, exactly as you are.
We will practice the 4 Agreements by Don Miquel Ruiz:
  • Be impeccable with your word
  • Don’t make assumptions
  • Don’t take anything personally
  • Always do your best 
This is the foundation for how we will put the human back into systems change.
