One thing I’ve learned about myself is how quickly I can decide what something means. Somebody says something. Somebody does something. My mind can have the whole story written before I’ve asked one question. 😂 I’ve learned to slow that down. Ask more. Tell less. Before I tell myself what somebody meant, I can ask. Before I decide why my child did something, I can ask. Before I assume my wife should know what I need, I can ask. And sometimes the person I need to question is me. What am I assuming right now?
