1️⃣ Biggest Takeaway: Structure supports Freedom!
Once the mechanics are in place, we reduce mental efforts and form our muscle memory.
This allows us
*to be free from thinking
*to be more into Feelings and Intuition
*to focus on the highest and best frequencies needed in the moments
*to be led to a more blissful experience (for ourselves and for clients)
I find that the muscle memories are super helpful because there are times my arms just move naturally from one bowl to another. I caught myself questioning “is this the right bowl?”
While sustaining that bowl, I mentally traced back the previous bowl and fingers counted, and came to the conclusion “it is the right one!” 😮💨 🤪
Such a relief 😅
I just tell myself “Calm down. Trust it!” 😂
2️⃣ How does my Harmonic Grid feel so far?
I feel like I’m cheating ạ little on this question.
Because I took full course, the 90 day program with Kalee less than a year ago, and I had a lot of practice the last six months by myself, on my family members, also eight 1:1 sessions along sixteen public group sound journeys.
I finally found out that my dominant hand and my
bowls size are opposite to Kalee’s😅
(Her C bowl is much bigger than mine, the matter of fact, my C is really small 8 inches)
I’m in a process of slowly changing and adjusting my harmonic grid. I constantly take photos of newer setup and its notes. Eventually I’ll find the best setups for myself 😁
3️⃣ What is it like practicing with my harmonic grid and set list?
I’m memorizing my set list and let it flow as planned.
I also allow my intuition take its lead on whatever bowls it called me to play without resisting, yet keeping it in the pleasant interval or chord.
I just took a mental note of those occasions and usually got the answers from my clients at the end of the session. They are the ones providing the explanation for me without me asking. Amazed me quite a few times! A lot actually. I ended up learn more from my clients.
