Period. 🧤 GLOVES What works:Waterproof gloves with actual membranes What doesn’t:Basic gloves + “they’ll dry later” mentality 👉 Wet hands = no grip = bad day 👢 BOOTS What works:Waterproof boots or legit boot covers What doesn’t:“Eh my boots will be fine” 👉 Nothing ruins a ride faster than wet socks for 2 hours 👀 VISIBILITY What works:Hi-vis / reflective gear What doesn’t:All black in a rainstorm 👉 Rain = low visibility = you’re invisible 🌫️ ANTI-FOG What works:Pinlock insert What doesn’t:“Crack the visor and hope for the best” 👉 Fogged visor = you’re riding blind ⚠️ HERE’S THE REAL PROBLEM Most riders don’t invest in rain gear because: - “I don’t ride in rain that much” - “It’s expensive” - “I’ll deal with it if it happens” - Then it happens…And now you’re cold, soaked, can’t see, and just trying to survive the ride home. 🧠 GRUMPY RULE: If you ride more than once a week…You WILL get caught in rain eventually.
