This Studio community is such a game-changer. It’s so very easy to think that you can power your way to what you want alone, or in isolation… but not only do you not have to, it’s actually so much easier to do that with the presence and support of like-minded people who understand your struggle and path. Sven and everyone else in the Studio Community have been so, so supportive and helpful. The paired approach of craft and networking have helped me see a path forward - even in a very short time.

Sven brings so much value to the members of the Studio. Not only do you get to start off with professional footage to edit and use on your reel, but you also get valuable feedback to help hone your craft as an editor. Sven also goes over how to reach out to other filmmakers and start building creative relationships within the industry. This isn't just an editing class; it's an editing community. I've been a member of the Studio since July 2026. From the very beginning, I've had the chance to sharpen my editing skills by working on footage from a feature film and receiving feedback from incredibly accomplished editors, including Roger Nygard, an Emmy nominated editor, and Linda Jildmalm, a Sundance editor.
