I’ll never forget a conversation with a close friend after he completed training on the Gulfstream G550. He was young, mid-30s, with everything ahead of him—yet he looked at me with desperation and asked:
“Where do I go from here? I’ve done it all. There’s nothing left to achieve. My life feels meaningless.”
It floored me. Here was someone at the peak of success, and yet he felt he had lost everything—his purpose, his identity—simply because he had reached the top.
So the real question is this: what do you do after you’ve achieved it all? How do you keep growing, keep finding meaning, and keep contributing when you’ve already reached the summit?
