Joyful spaces create joyful lives >> What's your joyful space?
I watched an excerpt from a TED talk, by designer Ingrid Fetell Lee on IG a couple of days ago and ended up watching the full thing (not that long😆), I did not regret it! For the architects in here, this must be common logic, but for people like me, who aren't architecture pro's, it was such a nice reminder how the spaces we live and work in can actually influence how much joy we feel day to day!🥰 For me, my favorite place in my apartment is my office (haha sorry @Kym Byrns , you've seen it before 😅). I intentionally built this into my favorite room and I rearranged the books in a way that bring me joy. Because perhaps subconsciously my work and my business bring me joy too! In this angle you can see the bookshelves (colorful, multi-faceted, vibrant, yet organized and structured... just like me haha!) but in front me, there is this massive, bright window with forest green curtains left and right, and a big leafy plant (fake 🫣😅). And the view of the dense city park right across brings me so much joy every morning! What’s the one spot in your room, home or backyard, that sparks joy for you? Or what’s one change you could make to invite more of it?

Each Architecture has its own Frequency & Energy ✨
There’s a completely different frequency in a : 🤍 Wellness Center Vs Prison 🌿 Home Vs Hospital ✨ Boutique Vs Retail Center And even within the same type of space, the feeling can be radically different!! Houses created based on luxury, spaciousness, openess, natural light, connexion to nature, sustainable and high-quality materials Feels worlds appart from house build with unintentional design, overwhelming layouts, with cheap and unsustainable materials Even if they are both houses, We can immediately sense, and even visualize, how completely different they are. One feels expansive, open, light, alive and in a high frequency The other feel contracting, heavy, overwhelming, in a low frequency And I realize to be able to create high frequency architecture and design We also have to go beyond only form and function. We have to create intentionally, connected to the highest potentiality of the sites, the energy of the material and the human experience we want to elevate!! 🙏
