Did you know that the wind, one of the four elements of nature, carries wide-band noise.
What is wide band noise? Well, it’s pretty self explanatory, a noise in a wide band spectrum with more frequencies. In simple words: a sound that contains many frequencies at the same time.
Examples?!
The wind
The rain
The ocean waves
Yes. Mother Nature scores again!!
Technically:
- White noise → equal energy per Hz
- Pink noise → more low frequencies (often more natural)
- Brown noise → even deeper, heavier lows
Wind noise sits closer to pink and brown noise, not pure white.
