Life is about balance….
If you’re going to demolish a family-sized bag of Choritos (the cheap Doritos) on a Friday night while binge-watching Netflix, you’ve got to be prepared to pay the price at some point... The truth is, life is all about balance. You don’t need to survive on chicken, broccoli and sadness to be healthy. Enjoy the pizza. Have the beers. Eat the Choritos. Go for the dessert. But remember, rewards work best when they actually feel like a reward. The trouble starts when the treats become the routine and the effort becomes the exception. That’s when the scales start creeping up, the clothes get a little tighter, and you’re left wondering where it all went wrong. A lot of people think getting in shape means giving up all the things they enjoy. It doesn’t. It just means creating enough movement in your week to earn them. So if you’re planning on attacking the snack cupboard this weekend, brilliant. Enjoy every bite. Just make sure you also put your trainers on, get outside, move your body, and remind yourself that health isn’t about perfection….it’s about balance. Treat yourself... but earn it first. 🤜💥🤛
