🐾 Let’s talk cat drying methods… 🐾
Every cat groomer has their own preferred way of drying — so I’m curious 👀
What’s your favourite drying method for cats?
For me, I always begin with lap grooming 💺🐱
This means starting the drying process with the cat safely settled on my lap rather than straight onto a table or into a cabinet dryer.
✨ Why I love lap grooming:
• It helps cats feel secure and grounded
• Reduces stress after the bath
• Allows gentle, controlled drying
• Builds trust and confidence
• Perfect for nervous, elderly, or first-time cats
• Lets me read body language closely and adjust as needed
Starting on the lap allows cats to regulate emotionally before moving on to other drying methods, if needed. Calm cats dry better — and a relaxed experience makes all the difference 💆‍♀️🐈
There’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach with cats, and every individual deserves a method that works for them.
So tell me…
👇 Lap grooming, table drying, cabinet dryers, hand drying — or a mix?
Let’s share and learn from each other 🐾✨
