Christmas Week Goals
As entrepreneurs, we can be very focused on wealth or money making for our success, even during the Christmas season, but always remember ... "Success is not only about what you build, but its about who you share it with. This Christmas, take time to reflect on your journey and celebrate with those who matter most."
Here's 3 Tips to make the most of this Christmas week:
Schedule Intentional Downtime ... Block off specific days or hours this week to really disconnect from work. Treat this time with the same importance and value as you would a business meeting. Use it to relax, use it to reflect on the year, and enjoy family traditions. I recommend you put your phone on “Do Not Disturb” during family dinners or gatherings so you can be fully present.
Reflect as a Family ... Get your family to reflect on the year together. Share everything, all your highs and lows, and ask them to do the same. This helps you to feel gratitude for all the good things that have happened during the year. At our house, me and the kids have “Gratitude Jars” where we write down every positive thing that has happened during the year, then we can read it out loud on Christmas day. Maybe you can do that one next year?
Prioritize Quality Over Quantity ... This is cliche but it’s not about how much time you spend together, but the quality of the time. Plan activities that everyone can enjoy, such as baking cookies, watching movies, or playing board games. Maybe organize a family game night or a walk to look at Christmas lights.
So this Christmas, take a moment to take a look back on your year and spend quality time with your loved ones. What are some of your favorite family traditions? What were some of your wins for 2024? Comment below!! Let’s inspire each other to cherish what truly matters!
