I play at least one game of Sudoku every day. And I like to use the paper and pen. I don't want the 'hints' from the tech Sudoku. I realize that my 'play' has features that apply to life and business. Here are a few. Are there any more you can think of to apply to life and business?
Lessons from Sudoku (for those that like Sudoku 😊):
- Having a go-to solving strategy helps but don’t mistake it as the ONLY way to find the answers. You must keep your eyes open for different ways to view and solve the puzzle to avoid falling for the ‘it can’t be done’ thought.
- Sometimes the most fruitful boxes and lines to solve are NOT the ones with the least number of blanks. Sometimes the boxes and lines with the most blanks end up as the door opener to solving the whole puzzle. Don’t shy away from the least known or understood issue.
- Sometimes you have to step away from a puzzle for a bit. Coming back usually gives you a different view, something you didn't see before.
