Usually success in business is defined by how much money is made. That is a component, BUT my dream is two prong: 1. Continue to build The 442d Project with my husband to honor the legacy of the members of the 442d Fighter Wing. It is a 501c3 nonprofit. It relies on others catching the vision and purpose to the level that they donate to support. Not a money making venture, per se. And 2. to revamp my consulting business. I have not really tapped it's capabilities.
The slow downs in accomplishing some of my specific goals really comes down to time management. Even though we are empty-nesters, life seems just as busy as when there were 4-5 children at home. We had a pattern of time management during the full-nester time. But moving into this new stage means we need to revamp our life expectations and plans. And I say 'we' because my husband and I work together. It is critical 'we' are on the same page.
A part of the time management which can become an issue for me is hyper focusing on one area (and experiencing a lot of success and fun) only to find my life and relationships get out of balance (resulting in burn out or not so much fun over time)
Question: Do any of you have some time management ideas that have worked for you? I would love to hear them.
