RE-APPOINTED
I own a growing food business. This is not the first time I've started a food business but the third time.
I believe we have three enemies in life. 1 - demons 2 - the worlds view 3 - our flesh and let me tell you, all three are at work. When I put my videos out on social media, the worlds view is telling me my videos need to look better. When I cook for someone, fear is telling me I am going to get a bad report. When I am praying, I am tackling old spirits that want to stick around. And this would make anyone want to say, this is not going to work just like it didn't work the first two times.
Proverbs 14:23 reads,"In all labor there is profit, but mere talk leads to poverty." So how is this not going to work unless I work it and stand firm in it?
Not only have I learned and learning from my past mistakes, I am reconnecting myself to Him as it reads in John 15 as I RE-BUILD my life in it's entirety. Verse 7 reads,"If ye abide in me and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."
Reappointing me in this business at this time is putting me in a different position spiritually and mentally. I am not just looking to sell food, I am looking to heightened someones experience. I don't and cannot see other food vendors as competition because God created only one of me. He is going to use this business for His purpose and not mine. I also am noticing that I am not hoping someone purchases from me. I am asking God to show me who He wants me to serve and for Him to be my provider. That doesn't mean I sit back and wait for anything to fall in my lap. I recently launched a 150 cake challenge and I didn't reach my goal however, I was obedient in launching it, I learned some things about myself and I connected with new customers by providing for them in different ways through the cake challenge. I am walking forward but He is directing my path and securing the ground I walk on.
If you are finding that your "branches" have fallen or your "leaves" are withering, I encourage you to read the entire chapter 15. The great thing about Jesus is that because He has chosen you, you can reconnect to Him and as you stay connected, His only objective is to fulfill HIs plans for you, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
