I’ve been around running for a long time.
From 5km races through to ultras, and everything in between.
One pattern keeps showing up.
Runners don’t usually fall short because they aren’t trying hard enough.
They fall short because they can’t stay consistent.
Injuries come in.
Life gets in the way.
Training swings from too much… to nothing.
And progress stalls.
What I’ve learned over the years, through my own running and working with others, is that if you want to get the best out of yourself, consistency is the key.
Not perfect weeks.
Not big sessions.
Just steady, repeatable training over time.
This is where I’ll share what I’ve seen work, and what hasn’t.
Simple ideas, real experiences, and practical ways to keep you running.
From 5km to ultra-marathons.
Over time, I’ll also be adding structured coaching plans for those who want a bit more direction.
But it all comes back to the same thing —
