So I am currently working on a program for beauty schools - if you are a student, freshly graduated and or just feel inclined to answer these questions as a stylist or even a stylist who has recognized the decline of cutting skills in the industry would you answer this questionnaire for me?
I will unlock the textured masterclass for anyone who does and hasn't reached their class status yet as a genuine thank you. I really feel driven and called to helping switch this narrative and conversation inside the industry - that haircuts arent a good way to make income and/or not the focus of clients.
Thank you and I appreciate you so much!
- “Based on the education you have received up to this point How confident do you currently feel performing a full haircut (of any style) on a real client without the educator guiding you?”
- “In your program so far, what has received the most focus?”
Options:
• Hair coloring
• Haircutting
• Styling
• Product knowledge
• A mix of everything
- “When you get stuck during a haircut, how confident are your instructors in helping you troubleshoot?”
- “Do you feel like you’ve been taught a consistent method for approaching haircuts?”
- “Do your instructors generally teach the same haircutting approach, or does it vary from teacher to teacher?”
- “What advice have your instructors given you about becoming more confident with haircutting?”
