The Circle Code: Rules to Collect By
The Collector’s Circle works because it’s built on trust, respect, and value. These rules are simple, but they matter. Break them and you’re out. The Rules: 1. Respect all members — no bullying, harassment, or insults. 2. Watches only — no spam, self-promo, or off-topic posts. 3. Authentic only — no fakes, replicas, or shady dealings. 4. Be transparent — include references, condition, and history when posting. 5. Keep Circle info private — no screenshots or leaks outside this group. 6. Add value — every post should teach, ask, or share something useful. The Circle is not about hype or noise. It’s about sharpening your edge, protecting your collection, and building legacy. Follow the code, and you’ll thrive here. — Nick

Welcome to The Collector’s Circle
You’re here because you care about more than just buying watches. You care about collecting them and building something that holds value, tells a story, and represents who you are. That’s what The Collector’s Circle is for. I built this space because the watch world can feel noisy, shallow, and full of opinions that don’t actually help collectors make better decisions. Instagram is full of wrist shots. Forums are full of debates. But what most collectors are missing is structure — real frameworks for evaluating condition, understanding market pricing, and knowing when to move or pass on a piece. Inside the Circle, you’ll get: - Education — lessons on movements, case condition, variations, liquidity, and market psychology. - Market Notes — weekly breakdowns of what’s trending, what’s softening, and what I’m watching in auctions and sales. - Deal Breakdowns — real examples of watches bought, traded, or passed on, explained step by step. - Community — other collectors who actually want to learn and sharpen their edge, not just show off wrist shots. Here’s how to get started today: 1. Download the Top 10 Watches Under $10K guide (pinned). This will give you a collector’s foundation. 2. Watch the Welcome Video inside the course Collector’s Edge. 3. Post your introduction: tell us your last acquisition and the next piece you’re hunting. The Circle only works if we all participate. So make your first move today. Welcome to the Circle. — Nick

Collector Poll: How Many Watches Do You Own?
Every collector starts somewhere. Some of us are just beginning with one or two pieces. Others have built collections that fill a safe. This poll isn’t about showing off, it’s about understanding where we all are in the journey. Whether you’re holding your first serious piece or managing a vault, you’re part of the Circle. Vote below, then drop a comment with your current number and the one watch you’d add next if you could. 👇🏻 👇🏻 👇🏻

Lesson : Building Your Collector Identity
Every collector has a beginning. Maybe it was your first Rolex Datejust, maybe it was an Omega Speedmaster that pulled you into the history, maybe it was a Tudor that gave you a taste of what collecting could be. In Lesson 1, I shared my favorite 5 pieces and what they taught me, not just about watches, but about buying, selling, and holding value in the long run. Here’s why this matters: Collectors who treat watches as more than shiny objects learn faster, lose less money, and gain more confidence. The “story” of your collection is also the story of your decision-making. When you write it down and share it, you start to see your own patterns — the good ones and the mistakes. Your assignment: - Post your Top 3 watches you’ve owned (or want to own). - Tell us what each one taught you about buying, trading, collecting, or yourself. - Share the “lesson” behind the watch, not just the model. Why? Because this community isn’t built on hype. It’s built on education and sharpening each other. When you share your story, you not only learn about your own edge, you give the rest of us a chance to learn from you. Drop your Top 3 below. Let’s see what your collection says about you. — Nick
