Here's something I wish someone had told me earlier in business:
Or LIFE for that matter!!
Your focus problem isn't a discipline problem.
I used to think the reason I couldn't stay consistent, couldn't pick one thing and stick with it, was because I lacked willpower. Or I wasn't organized enough. Or I just wasn't cut out for this.
None of that was true.
The real problem was that I was trying to move forward without ever actually choosing. I had seventeen priorities, which means I had zero priorities. And when everything is equally important, your brain does the only logical thing, it freezes.
The fix isn't more discipline. It's less deciding.
Here's the one-question filter I use now when I'm spinning:
"If I could only move one thing forward this week, what would have the biggest impact on my business right now?"
Not the most fun thing. Not the easiest thing. The thing that actually moves the needle.
Write it down. That's your one thing.
And if you want to practice this with a little structure and a community cheering you on, the 7-Day Calm Clarity Challenge is live inside the Lounge classroom right now. Free. Drop-in anytime. Day 1 is up and waiting. 🧡
