If there’s one thing I’ve learned on this wild and wonderful personal development journey, it’s this: no one gets here alone. And honestly, thank goodness, because trying to figure out life without teachers would feel like trying to assemble IKEA furniture without the instructions. Possible, yes, but you’d probably end up with three extra screws and a wobbly table.
Over the years I’ve been blessed to learn from an incredible mix of mentors, teachers and thinkers who have shaped the way I work, heal and serve.
I’ve devoured the teachings of Abraham–Hicks, soaking up the reminders about alignment and ease.
I adore David Bayer’s work, especially his clarity around the mind, choice and creation. I still find myself nodding along to his content like an enthusiastic bobblehead.
I’ve been studying Neville Goddard, and yes, I’ve just ordered another one of his books… because apparently my bookshelf enjoys living on the edge.
And then there’s Florence Scovel Shinn, whose words have guided my thinking in ways I didn’t even realise I needed.
Along the way, I’ve trained in so many different modalities with so many gifted teachers, each one opening a door I didn’t even know existed. Every mentor gave me something different — a perspective, a tool, a challenge, a truth — and each one nudged me into a new version of myself.
What I didn’t expect was the moment I realised something quietly powerful:
after enough learning, something shifts… and your mentors become your peers.
Not from ego, but from integration.
Not because you “arrive”, but because you finally understand that growth isn’t about collecting gurus, it’s about becoming yourself.
Today, I’m filled with genuine gratitude for every single person who has walked before me, generously sharing their experience, their wisdom, their mistakes and their magic. Their influence is woven into everything I do.
