Happy Friday everyone 👋

Here’s something practical for you all: a simple Cardiology OSCE History Template you can use in exams or placements. Some of you may know it but some of you may find this helpful.

Structure:

1️⃣ Presenting complaint

2️⃣ History of presenting complaint (onset, character, radiation, associated symptoms, timing, severity)

3️⃣ Past medical history (cardiac + general)

4️⃣ Medications (cardiac, anticoagulants, risk factors)

5️⃣ Family history (sudden death, cardiomyopathy, IHD)

6️⃣ Social history (smoking, alcohol, occupation, exercise tolerance)

7️⃣ Systems review (chest pain, palpitations, dyspnoea, syncope, oedema)

8️⃣ Summary + working diagnosis

💡 I used this as a starting point throughout training — it kept me focused and examiners loved the clarity.

👉 Save this and practice saying it out loud until it flows naturally.
