The county I live in is currently fighting massive fires that have spread over 5000 acres, with a loss of over 50 homes and structures. There are over 15 crews working nonstop to put out these fires. While receiving a donation the emergency crews in Brantley County, Ga, expressed a specific need… PICKLES. The people fighting these fires are experiencing cramping due to working in the extreme heat for long periods of time. The salt and vinegar in the pickles helps with the cramping. Again, I live in Brantley County. While we are currently safe from the fires, that could change in a short amount of time. And so many have lost their homes and every belonging they have.
