Actors step on stage with their bodies shaking, heart racing, and mind screaming they’re about to fail hard.
They still go out and perform.
They don’t call it “being an anxious person.” They call it discomfort — a temporary bodily experience while they get on with what matters to them.
The reward on the other side (doing the work they love, the growth, the aliveness) is worth the feeling.
Most people labelled “anxious” do the opposite: they treat the exact same sensations as proof of who they are and let it stop them completely.
The sensations aren’t the real issue. The identity you attach to them is.
What discomfort are you still letting run your life?
