The Buffalo Herbalist is a clinical herbalism community for practitioners who want a working understanding of the body before reaching for a plant
Each course maps one body system: anatomy, physiology, then the mechanisms herbal actions meet. The plant attaches to a specific point in the system rather than a list of complaints. Herbalism grounded in physiology, for working herbalists and students of herbal medicine.
Teaching rests on an MD (non-practicing), a MSc in Herbal Medicine, doctoral research, clinical herbalism training, a peer-reviewed publication in JAHG, and an active herbal consultation practice.
Inside: a classroom organized by body system, weekly mechanism questions and clinical case puzzles, an Ask Agy category for your herbalism and physiology questions, and a growing reference shelf of herbs and herbal actions. First module drops May 9th.
For practicing herbalists, clinical herbalists, naturopaths, and students of herbalism and plant medicine.
Body First. Plants Second. :)
