For a long time, I thought my problem was confusion. I’d be at the end of the day — kids finally in bed, house quiet — and I’d feel this weird mix of gratitude and restlessness. Like… “God, I love my life, but why do I feel like I’m carrying something unfinished?” And then I’d open my Notes app. It was FULL of ideas. Coaching. A course. A membership. A resource. A podcast. Something for moms. Something faith-based. Something about purpose. Something about business. I wasn’t sitting around doing nothing. I was thinking, praying, saving posts, researching, making little plans in my head. But nothing was launching. Because every time I got close to choosing one direction, a quiet fear would hit me: “What if this isn’t the right thing?” “What if I invest time and it flops?” “What if I’m wrong about what God is asking me to build?” “What if I pick the wrong problem… and waste a whole year?” So I stayed “open.” And I called it discernment. But if I’m being honest… it was delay dressed up like wisdom. Here’s what I finally learned the hard way: A calling stays confusing until it becomes a solution. Not a vague dream. Not a “someday.” Not a whole identity crisis. A SOLUTION. Christmas Eve always feels like a gift in itself, a day full of anticipation, warmth, and quiet joy. Today we remember the most beautiful truth: “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” (John 1:14) God coming near. Light entering the world. Hope wrapped in a child. I’m so grateful for this community and for each of you who gather here with faith and open hearts. Being connected to women who value depth, kindness, and the presence of God is a gift I don’t take lightly. ☺️ As you move through today — however you’re celebrating — my hope is that you feel joy, peace, and wonder woven into your moments.
