All men have an offer. Sometimes you read it in the profile. Sometimes it comes out of their mouth. Women often ignore it, hear what they want to hear and think they can change. It’s your job to listen to the offer and see if it aligns with what you want. Common offers: Netflix and chill, let’s see where this goes, being “open” to marriage instead of looking for a wife, travel partner, sugar daddy, friends with benefits etc. That’s why you have to be crystalline clear on what you want. Some women will fall for these because they’re lonely, desperate, bored, the guy is cute, has swag or money. Don’t be one of those women. You’ll regret it.

I would like to propose that we say we’re in our preparation season instead of single. Many of us have old stories around being single. Some of us really feel it around the holidays. I’m pretty neutral about it. It’s a state of being and that’s it. It doesn’t mean anything more than that and I don’t ascribe additional meaning to it. However being in a preparation season has an end date. What you’re preparing for, youre being made ready for. Once you’re ready the opportunity appears. That sounds a whole lot better than being “single”.
