Back into it.
I'm retired for about two years now and decided to keep a promise I made to myself years ago. About 40 years ago I played in a rock band now would be 70's covers. But life happened and I had to put it down and get a real job. Been taking lessons locally for 3yrs now. I've learned so much. My teacher plays bass in a local blues band. He said he's going to invite me to his bands practice in the spring. I'm learning a few of their songs. My advice is to play everyday if you can. Play something a few songs, scales, modes, pentatonics just play something. Stay humble and just have fun with it.
