I’m cooked after last week.
Gentlemen. I apologise I have been a bit quiet this week. As we are still building this course I have been absolutely balls deep in work—that’s all there is to it. Today is the first day I’ve had a rest and taken some time for myself.
My movement has been off, my eating non exist , sleeps cooked, on screens until 3am working…
But the thing is—results are not some perfect picture.
I’ve had to strip my life back to the the bare minimum to build this platform these past few weeks. Hence why everything else has taken a hit.
But here’s my wisdom from it.
Like I speak about in the core framework “The seasons of life”. There are moments in your life when you need to genuinely assess yourself and your immediate standing in life and ask yourself: What exactly do I need, what capacity do I have to do it and (as an extra for this post), what do I need to sacrifice?
The answer was clear, I needed to build this platform, my mental capacity and focus could handle it—but something had to be toned down a notch and sacrifices needed to be made to do so.
That energy had to be stripped from my training —just focus on just moving my body instead of complete circuits.
Minimal food, so my stomach wasn’t full and playing tug o war with my focus and energy.
Later nights, sacrificing sleep quality to work longer.
Introduce a little bit of controlled coffee in the mornings for peak focus.
Supplements like tyrosine and alpha GPC got reintroduced.
Relationship put on hold.
The list goes on and honestly I felt a bit fucking fried this weekend. But the sacrifice had to be made.
Something that I have not taught yet in my teachings is adaptabilty. The power of being able to, in one moment, optimise your resources and use what you have immediately to give yourself the best chance at success in any endeavour. Perhaps that’s a lesson for another day.
But what I want to say is this entire course is about a mindset—that small, sometimes insignificant steps lead to bigger results.
Yeah I tell you to make your bed and dim your phone light—seems fucking stupid right? But it is these small habits that helped me lock into the very mindset I needed to finally put this platform out there. I needed to just lock in and do the fucking basics—pull everything apart and focus on the one or two things that are essential to me becoming better in this moment.
Now you might think what does making my bed have to do with any of this? Well—I wanted to become better by challenging myself to create this course and teach it to real people and get them real results based on my experience.
That’s an idea>optimised action>better results>end result.
Same as making your bed.
The idea is to build discipline>making your bed is the optimised action because it’s simple/easy and fits in to your day>better results are more consistent discipline over time which bleeds into other areas of your life>the end result is the complete embodiment of discipline where you don’t need to try anymore, you just are.
Long read I know. But I wanted to give you guys something interesting since I’ve been quiet as fuck on here. I’ll be pretty active here next week—even if I’m just talking to myself. If you wanna drop a comment please do. Or better yet, make your own post!
Talk soon. Cael.
