About Me-Mark Rayment
Just wanted to introduce myself as the joint founder of the Barber Business Club- I’ve been in barbering for over 25 years. I started training with Vidal Sassoon in London. Since then, I’ve run my own barbershop, worked on the shop floor for years, and spent a big part of my career in education. I was a Head of Department at an FE college in South East London and have worked nationally as a Development Manager for Barbering with an Awarding Body, and have delivered workshops, shows, and talks in the UK and abroad. Along the way, I’ve worked with a lot of barbers at different stages — from students just starting to shop owners trying to grow something sustainable. I’m not here to lecture or tell anyone how to run their business. For me, starting this community is really about sharing what works, learning from each other, and helping barbers build better careers with more control, confidence, and balance. Really looking forward to collaborating!

You can keep it short and informal. Just let us know: - Where are you based? - Where are you in barbering right now? (student, working barber, owner, etc.) - What's your biggest challenge at the moment? - What would you love this community to help you with? No pressure to be polished — just be honest. Really excited you're here — this is our community. Let's build it together. Mark & Anderson
