Energy & Focus are Magnets!
I’m back in colorful Colorado! The conference was amazing! My greatest takeaway… successful leaders have so much great advice, following a leader can be overwhelming if you don’t know what advice to start with! Let me make this Sundays advice simple and short! Just like the phenomenon that occurs when we buy a new car and then notice it in every color everywhere we go as if everyone else bought the car because we did, in marriage - the traits we focus on in our husbands are the traits we’ll notice more of! Choose your focus wisely. It will determine your peace, happiness and joy!

The Power of Following Good Advice
Hey Wifey! Happy Sunday! You’ll only get as far as the last good instruction you ignored! I’m preparing this Sunday to travel to an incredible high energy conference and be in the room with titans of self improvement, billionaires, millionaires and people on the path of creating the best life they can possibly experience! And I get to be with them, learning from them and soaking up their advice for a whole week! You best believe I’m taking notes & journaling my heart out!!! Searching my heart for a Sunday Kind of Love post… I have found that this is what I want to share with you today! A couple of months ago, I gave advice to those struggling with intimacy in their marriage. I suggested starting a S.E.X. journal—not just to track each time you and your husband make it happen, but also as a space to vent frustrations and write about your goals for feeling more in tune with him. How many of you actually followed that advice? It’s easy to read or hear guidance that resonates but then never act on it. You tell yourself you’ll get around to it “later” or think it’s not important enough. But here’s the truth: every instruction you ignore becomes a block in your progress. It’s like stepping off the path you were meant to walk and wondering why you feel lost. Why did I turn sex into the acronym S.E.X.? You’ll have to read my book to learn what each letter represents! Marriage, especially intimacy, thrives on awareness and intentionality. A journal helps you reconnect to your body, your emotions, and your partner. It allows you to reflect on patterns, see small victories, and identify areas for growth. It keeps you honest with yourself—something that’s essential in any partnership. If you haven’t started yet, it’s not too late. Pick up that journal and get writing. The moments you invest in yourself are the moments that bring you closer to the connection you crave. What’s one piece of good advice you’re finally ready to act on today? Start now—your marriage deserves it; your sanity depends on it! If you haven’t already… follow the advice on reading the book “Growing Into a Mature Marriage: from Kindergarten to College” by Delyce Collins and see what other good advice you may be missing out on! The Power of Following Good Advice
Sunday Kind of Love #8
Hey Wifey! Happy Sunday! As we settle into this day, that for some is a day of rest and reflection, let’s take a moment to think about the kind of love that endures beyond the daily hustle - the kind of love that feels safe, steady, and full of grace. A Sunday Kind of Love isn’t just about romance; it’s about the deep connection we nurture through patience, understanding, and faith. In our marriages, it’s easy to get caught up in schedules, responsibilities, and expectations, but today, I want to challenge you to slow down and see your husband. Not just the man who helps with chores or provides for the family, but the man God placed in your life to walk this journey with you. Ask yourself today: - Have I shown him love that feels like home? - Am I offering the kind of grace I desire in return? - How can I be intentional in making our marriage feel like a place of rest and joy? A Sunday kind of love is built on trust, respect, and honor - values that take root when we align our hearts with God’s vision for marriage. If you’ve struggled with these lately, today is a perfect time to reset. Let go of yesterday’s frustrations and step into today with a heart open to love and be loved. Marriage is an art… be creative. It’s a game… have fun! 🎨🎮 How can you bring a little more peace and grace into your marriage today? Drop a comment and share your thoughts! Blessings, Delyce Collins The Art of Marriage

Wild Fires🔥
Hey Wifey! It’s a Sunday kind of love, remember to count your blessings! First and foremost, I want to send prayers, strength, and condolences to anyone being affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. My heart goes out to those experiencing loss and hardship right now. Let’s keep lifting each other up and supporting those in need during this difficult time. On a personal note, I want to share something that has been unfolding in the Collins household over the past couple of months. My husband was feeling very unwell, and it got to the point where I had to take him to the emergency room. To our shock, we discovered that his blood pressure was at an alarmingly dangerous level. It was a scary and humbling experience, but I truly believe that nothing happens to us in life—everything happens for us. Sometimes we encounter physical fire and other times we enter a spiritual fire for refining and cleansing. I share this story because I’ve come to see how much pain can teach us. Our pain always has a purpose, even if it’s just a reminder of how we can better take care of ourselves and those we love. This journey has reminded me to pay closer attention to our health and wellbeing, both physically and emotionally, and I encourage you all to do the same. Take care of yourselves out there—your mind, your body, and your spirit. Keep journaling, keep participating, and keep seeking counsel from positive, like-minded married women as we work to make our marriages and lives better. I love you ladies and am so grateful for this group. Always remember: Marriage is an art… be creative. It’s a game… have fun! With love, Delyce p.s. Sitting in the emergency room of our second hospital of the night and praying and being grateful for God’s deliverance; we took a few pictures to remind us of this time in our life when God brought us through something scary to create the strength and the habits we need for our next season.
