What it helps me…
There are so many moments when I catch myself wishing I were somewhere else… doing something different… living another version of my life. And that simple thought — I should be elsewhere — slowly turns into anxiety, into stress, into this subtle feeling of not-enoughness. Here’s what helps me… in case it serves you too ❤️‍🩹 1 — I acknowledge that it’s happening. I don’t fight it. I don’t judge it. I don’t try to spiritually bypass it. I just notice it. “Oh… I’m feeling restless. I’m feeling like I should be somewhere else.” Sometimes awareness alone softens everything. 2 — I take a few deep breaths. Slow. Intentional. Breathing like I’m reminding my nervous system that I am safe right here. Because most of the time, I am. 3 — I remember all the beautiful things that led me here. Every risk. Every lesson. Every heartbreak. Every leap of faith. The Universe is precise. Why would I be somewhere I’m not meant to be? Even this moment is part of the unfolding. If you’ve been feeling this too… you’re not alone. Hope this helps. Let me know what you think in the comments. W love, Patricia
